Dodge Avenger Race Car NAIAS World Debut - Detroit - January 9, 2007 - Chrysler Group introduced the all-new Dodge Avenger race car at the North American International Auto Show. The all-new 2008 Dodge Avenger mid-size sedan also made its worldwide debut here today. The Avenger race car enters competition this season as the "Car of Tomorrow" in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series, joining the Charger in the Dodge racing lineup.
