Windsor, Ontario - November 3, 2008 - Chrysler today celebrated the 25th anniversary of the minivan at its assembly plant in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Frank Ewasyshyn, Chrysler's Executive Vice President - Manufacturing, marked the occasion by introducing two new 25th anniversary editions: the 2009 Chrysler Town & Country, left, and Dodge Grand Caravan. Chrysler invented the minivan in November of 1983. Since then the company has sold more than 12 million minivans in more than 80 countries.
